Target Talk: Jaiden Moore
Matt Dossett spoke with Jaiden Moore, getting the scoop on his recruitment!
Offers from Middle Tennessee State have been doled out to prospects from all over. One recent recipient of an offer from the Blue Raiders was Jaiden Moore. Moore is a running prospect for the class of 2027, and is from Hillgrove High School, which is situated in Powder Springs, Georgia. Moore took to X and social media on May 13, announcing his offer from the Blue Raiders. Moore posted some eye-popping statistics this past season as a junior, where he rushed for 1,407 yards on 145 carries. That equates to 9.2 yards a carry. On top of that, Moore accumulated 13 total touchdowns. He was also nominated as first team all region for his junior campaign.
Since being offered by the Blue Raiders, Moore was offered the very next day by the Bulldogs of Samford. Outside of those two recent offers, Moore has offers from: Wagner, Miami of Ohio, Gardner-Webb, and Florida Atlantic.
He indicated to me that out of all his offers, there is not one team standing out and recruiting him the hardest.
“Right now, I wouldn’t say anybody is recruiting me the hardest yet,” he said.
Moore is quick to point out the key attributes of his game, that make him a formidable running back recruit.
“I’d describe my game as explosive and patient at the same time,” he said.
“I feel like I bring speed, good breakout ability, vision, and patience to the field. I let blocks develop and then hit the hole hard and make plays in open space.”
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the runnings backs coach for MTSU is the one who has been zeroing in and targeting Moore, spearheading his recruitment. That makes sense, considering Moore is a tailback himself.
“Coach Poree is recurring me for MT,” Moore said. Moore said that he has developed a great relationship with Poree and he likes what he has seen so far.
“What I like about him is he’s always straightforward with me and gives me advice not only about football, but about real life too. I respect how real he keeps it.”
When it comes to visits, Moore divulged that he has only taken one visit at this point and that it was from Wofford.
“I’ve visited Wofford,” he said.
When it comes to other pending visit plans, Moore mentioned that he has one visit scheduled on the books. “I also have an official visit planned for Gardner-Webb, that I’m looking forward to,” he said.
Moore confirmed his offers, that were aforementioned. He said that he is still “Building relationships with schools.”
“I hold offers from: Middle Tennessee, FAU, Miami of Ohio, Wagner, Gardner-Webb, and Samford,” he said. Moore is also hearing from Wofford, again, a school he has visited.
